So I met this girl online and we started msging each other about a month ago. We go on our first date about 2 weeks ago, and I didn't think it was bad, but it wasn't great either. But after the first date she texted me when she got home, and we've exchanged friendly and sometimes flirty texts.

Last week, we go on our 2nd date. This date I thought was a great success! I really felt comfortable this time, and I felt she did too. We shared so many laughs and there were hardly ever any awkward silences despite the date being almost 6 hours long (including the drive in the car with her & getting stuck in traffic). At the end of the date, I surprised her with a stuffed animal from a Japanese anime that she said she liked from the first date for Christmas. She said it was cute and said she would get me something for Christmas as well. The same night, I get a text from her saying she had a good time and that she picked out my Christmas present.

We keep in touch these last few days with really friendly and flirty texts. Which leads me to a few days ago. She texts me that she wants to give me the gift on christmas eve after work. I say ok, but I say I would also like to hang out with her afterwards. We end up having lunch and she gives me the gift, but because she had something to do afterward, we only had lunch. I felt some of the magic of the 2nd date was lost during this mini 3rd date. There was awkwardness and she didn't seem to be laughing or smiling as much. She said she was just tired from work though.

The next day on Christmas, I call her in the morning to wish her a Merry Christmas and to see if she was free to go out. She calls me back first thing when she wakes up because I could her from her voice she was not fully awake. She said she was going to the spa during the day and probably won't be able make it but she wasn't sure. I told her that was fine, just give me a call. She never ended up calling me back, which leads me to today. We haven't really been keeping in touch that much through texts and I just feel in general she's not as communicative. Did I screw this up??
